Greetings and Salutations from The Kansas City Naturists!!
I would like to take this chance to introduce myself to all my fellow FKK'ers out there. I'm Dan. I have only just recently become an "official" Naturist / naturist / nudie - only within the last two months! I come from a country background and have physically and psychologically worked hard my entire life. If I was not building a barn or fixing a fence, I was working in the construction field. I've also traveled the world working as a military contractor, training soldiers to locate land mines. I've assembled mobile towers and gear across the country. I have partied in Prague, assembled sites in Okinawa, sunbathed naked and skinny-dipped in the beaches and of Puerto Rico, been arrested in Germany (long story) and it is rumored that I 've also smoked weed in Amsterdam (but no evidence has been presented yet!). I 'm worldly but also modest and down to earth.

I 'm also in a relationship with a great girl who's also fresh to our endeared society. Initially, we started our journey into nudism by looking for places to camp nude. Upon an internet search, we came across the notion of nudism and nudism and obviously, it appealed to us.

My girlfriend, however, hasn't been so free spirited. When we met, she was closed, quite shy and insecure. I did my best to nurture her and allow her the time to realize that she is her own person and amazing both inside and out. It took a little work and even more time but she came around.
We started out being nude around one another. We'd be naked in the house and slowly progressed to camping nude Albeit, only the two of us, but she enjoyed the experience immensely. What started as a weekend of nude easiness and greatest appreciation for nature (and all things therein) soon turned into a lifestyle that we would never have thought about.
With research and dialogue, we've learned that nudism has evolved quite radically through the years. Gone are the days of "free love" (never understood that termisn't all adore free?) and drug-caused nude frolicking and it is time for mainstream America to visualize the naturist society for what it actually is - the innocent and accepting society that we've come to love. A society of free thinkers and friends who understand one another inside and out and people who understand that absolute approval of all is the sole way to live! We also have learned that it is a "help one, help all" community and we expect to be able to fulfill the high standards that were set by the FKK family and the pure nudist movement.
We, in our nubile nudie position, comprehend that our choice of lifestyle isn't for everyone. But we do expect to ignite such fire as what we've seen from those who've come before us. We also have learned that there are so many thoughts out there that have been determined by the social media, to "believe" that our nudie society is about callous and unabashed sexual adventures.
It Looks a bit rash for mainstream society to think that all nudists, naturists and nudies want to participate in orgies and sexual conquest merely because they enjoy social nudity. Having said that, I need to confess that my woman and I've been propositioned on many occasions. In all honesty, they're too many to recall or even count. So, we can realize where that type of mindset may be coming from.
In my opinion, I see no issue with being approached. In our situation, all offers have been respectfully rejected and that was the end of it. We just continued to appreciate whatever action we were participated in at the time. We all have our own vices, ideas, views, want and lifestyle. While we might not have the same sexually motivated interests, we see no reason to admonish anyone for what goes on between other consenting adults in the privacy of their own bedrooms.
Just as we advocate acceptance for each person's physical look, so too should we accept who they're inside. We should not, in my opinion, condemn them. Of course, this is only my opinion in reference to this issue. But maybe the knowledge got from a newbie like myself could prove advantageous to a movement for example this.
